Westport

Started off today at 12:00 heading to Westport. The bus I hopped on today has a whopping 13 people on it so it's very small and empty but I like the driver he's funny so I think I'll stay on with this route till Wanaka at least. The way it works is if you want to hop of and stay at a place you can then just call when you want to get back on the bus. They arrange all accommodation and most activities so it's very easy to travel with Kiwi Experience. The weather has taken a turn to being average which down here I've found can mean anything from literally average to absolute shit. So right now it's cloudy and what I am considering cold. I am so excited to be coming home and am feeling fabulous about life right now. Thanks Jord for the pep talk!

We're currently driving along a river and all I can think of is man...I could build a mean dam right there!! Some things never change eh?! I'm also listening to some Paul Brandt cause I am a sucker for country music.

I ended up going for a horse back rise which was beautiful and entertaining. We got to take them for a swim which my horse was not keen on! When we got back to our hostel we went for a walk to the beach and had an awesome fire with a bunch of girls. It was so much fun. Also talked to nick and figured out my plan so I am comin home!!!!!

So happy right now it's gross!

  2. Great photos Taryn. We are thinking hard about your suggestion to visit New Zealand. I like your mom's idea of using you as a tour guide. Look forward to seeing you back in Canada! Unc.

  3. Awesome photos Taryn. Glad you are coming home soon. Nikua went for a walk with me yesterday to visit your Mom ,actually she followed me the BRAT, three vehicles had to slow down for her. I was having a panic thinking that she would be hit, anyway Jordan gave us a ride home so all is well.
See you soon.. Lots of Love Gram . Nikua is doing fine.
We got your postcard so thank you so much.
