Koh Lanta

We have hit paradise! After an hr and half boat ride we arrived on Koh Lanta which is one of the biggest islands in Thailand. We rode in a truck (actual pickup truck) for 30min and arrived at our resort Lanta Marine Park View. We got a private villa again because we are 3 people. It is gorgeous here and our view is incredible (note picturea). We decided to take a stroll down the beach, which is in Ba Kantiang Bay, because it was pretty much empty and so beautiful. We got to the end and i went for a quick snorkel when a needle fish started swimming at me and attacking my leg...it beat it up quite nicely. Then on my way out of the water in a hurry my Moe Toes got in the way and i tripped on a rock cutting up the bottom of my other foot. Thank goodness for a nice diver at her shop that fixed me right up! Now we are drinking a large amount of beer and enjoying our view and the quietness of the island. We are going on the elephant tour tomorrow at 8am. Pretty excited! This is the Thailand I've been waiting for!
