Franz Josef

And we're off!! The sunshine gods have seriously blessed us with the most amazing days. Right now the rest of this breathtaking country is under heaps of rain and here we are clear blue skies and 21+ degrees. THANK YOU!! We only have 9 people still on the bus so we are able to stop off at all these awesome places to get some amazing photos and views. Most of the views I find are better seen then photographed so when I say how amazing it is and the pics don't really show that...just have a little faith!

We stopped off Okataro to do a little hike up to see the view of Franz Josef glacier and Mt. Cook and Mt. Able Tasman. It was so beautiful to see the Tasman Sea lead right up to the top of a glacier. Oh my lanta it is the most fabulous sight to see. I did a cartwheel down the middle of state highway 6.

We hopped back in the bus and actually get into Franz. It reminds me a lot of Banff with a population of 500. We have a few hours before we go Kayaking. The trip was another $100 and well worth it. I believe the one trip that I have paid for and actually enjoyed. We got some perfect mirror images of virgin rainforest. It was incredible. Then we had a free meal and off to bed!!
